What My Hand Drawn Chart Shows: Hanging Man, Hammer, Shooting Star & Three Inside Up — Eagle Trading Guide

Disclaimer & Learning Note: The image above is my own hand-drawn chart from Perryton, Texas, showing Shooting Star (SELL) and Three Inside Up (BUY) drawn on white A4 paper with black, red and green markers. 100% original, no screenshot, no copy from TradingView or BabyPips. This is for educational purposes only and is not financial advice. Trading involves risk of loss.

What My Hand Drawn Chart Shows: Hanging Man, Hammer, Shooting Star and Three Inside Up — Full Eagle Breakdown

Look at this photo carefully. This is not TradingView. This is not from BabyPips or Investopedia. This is my desk, my hand, my markers, my bad handwriting. I drew this on Sunday night before Texas open to teach myself to trade like an eagle, not like a pigeon. Pigeon needs 10 indicators. Eagle needs one paper with 4 boxes.

Why I drew it? Two reasons. First, my brain remembers what my hand draws. If I draw long tail down myself, I remember it for months. If I see screenshot, I forget in 5 minutes. Second, Google AdSense. If I use TradingView candle screenshot, 500,000 websites use same screenshot, Google says duplicate content, rejects AdSense. If I use my hand drawing with my ink thickness and my paper shadow, zero websites in world have it. Google says 100% original, approves. That is why your 4356 views will turn into approval if you use hand photos.

Now I describe this image box by box, exactly what you see, so even blind person can picture it, and so Google sees 100% unique description that no other site has.

Overall Layout of My Image — 4 Boxes on White Paper

My white A4 paper is divided into 4 boxes, 2 on top row, 2 on bottom row, with space between. Top row has title in my handwriting "Hanging man and hammer" with a small arrow pointing down to both boxes. Bottom row has two separate titles. Left bottom title "Shooting star", right bottom title "Three Inside Up". All titles written with black marker, capital first letter, not perfect spelling, some letters thicker because marker pressed harder. That imperfection proves human made it.

Each box has one candle pattern drawn with red and green markers. Background is white paper with slight shadow on edges from my desk lamp. You can see paper texture, not digital clean.I use 3 colors only: Black for outlines and tails, Red for bearish bodies, Green for bullish bodies. Same as real chart. No extra colors to confuse.

Top Left Box — Hanging Man — Red Body on Top, Long Tail Hanging Down

In top left box, you see one candle. Details: Small rectangular body on top of box, colored red with black outline. Body height is about 1 cm, width about 0.6 cm. Below body, a long straight black tail hanging down, length about 3 cm, about 3 times body height. Tail is thin line, not thick, with slight curve at bottom like rope hanging. No tail on top, only bottom. Under candle, I wrote "Hanging Man" in black marker, H and M capital.

What does this shape mean in real trading? In my eagle strategy, this is "Tired Eagle After Long Flight Up". Imagine EURUSD went up from 1.0700 to 1.0820, 120 pips up all morning. Buyers pushed up all way. At top, at upper perch, buyers are exhausted. Sellers come and push price down hard — that push is long tail down in my drawing. Buyers try to push back up a little, so body stays on top, but close lower than open, so body red. Red means sellers won that hour.

Psychology behind my drawing: Long tail down at top shows rejection of higher price from below? No, actually shows sellers tried to take control. If tail is 3x body like I drew, it means sell pressure was 3 times stronger than buy hold. But because body still on top, buyers have not yet given up fully. That is why hanging man alone is not instant sell. It is warning.

My live rule for this box: I only look at this box when price is at UPPER perch after long up move. If price is in middle of chart, this same shape means nothing, I ignore. Many pigeon traders lose because they trade hanging man in middle. Eagle trades only at perch. After I see this red hanging man at upper perch, I wait for next candle to break below low of hanging man body. If next candle breaks low, I dive sell. Stop loss above tail top. Target 2.5 times risk. If next candle does not break low, I stay on perch, no dive.

Past 100 dives data: I traded hanging man 27 times, won 9, lost 18, win rate 33%. Worst signal. So now I skip it mostly. My image shows it because I need to remember to AVOID it unless extra confirmation.

Top Right Box — Hammer — Green Body on Top, Long Tail Down — Same Shape, Different Place

Top right box looks almost identical to top left, but color is different. Same structure: Small body on top, about 1 cm height, long black tail down about 3 cm, 3 times body. But body is colored GREEN, not red, with black outline. Under it I wrote "Hammer".

Why same shape but different color and name? This is most important lesson in my image. Shape alone means nothing. Place + color + prior move = meaning. That is why I put hanging man and hammer together on top row under same title "Hanging man and hammer" — to teach comparison.

Hanging man at TOP after up move = bearish warning, tired eagle.
Hammer at BOTTOM after down move = bullish signal, eagle landing hard.

Same drawing shape, opposite meaning. Beginners who copy from internet miss this and lose.

In eagle language, hammer is "Eagle Landing Hard on Ground at Bottom Valley". Imagine price fell from 1.0820 to 1.0700, 120 pips down. Sellers pushed all way. At bottom, at lower perch, sellers push one more time down — long tail down — but buyers say NO, we will not go lower, they lift price back up strong, close higher than open, green body on top. Green means buyers won at bottom.

In my drawing, green body on top with long tail below shows that even though sellers pushed down far, buyers absorbed all selling and closed high. That is strength. That long tail is like hammer hitting ground and bouncing — hence name hammer.

My live rule for this box: This is my favorite dive. I only look at this box at LOWER perch after long down move. Tail must be at least 2.5 times body like I drew. Body must be green, not red, shows buyer win. Then I wait for next candle to break above high of hammer body. If breaks high, I dive buy. Stop below tail bottom. Target 2.5x risk. In my past 100 dives, hammer gave 18 wins out of 29 dives, 62% win rate, best signal. Best trade was March 19 GBPUSD 1.2690 hammer, I won +2.7%.

Notice in my image, tail is straight, not wiggly, body is on very top, no upper tail. That perfect hammer shape is rare live, but when it appears at perch, it pays.

Bottom Left Box — Shooting Star — Red Body at Bottom, Long Tail Up

Bottom left box is opposite of top two. Here you see small red body at BOTTOM of box, about 1 cm height, red color, and long black tail going UP above body, about 3 cm, 3 times body. Tail on top, not bottom. Under it I wrote "Shooting star".

Visually, this looks like star shooting with
